INFLUÊNCIAS JAZZÍSTICAS

A influência no jazz norte-americano pode ser atribuído a vários componentes da música do século XX como: a grande vitalidade nos ritmos, melodias sincopadas sobre o ritmo constante; bemolização de certas notas da escala, como a 3ª e a 7ª (blue notes); efeitos de surdina; sons de percussão, instrumentos tocados em registros estridentes.

Leonard Bernstein is one of the best and most famous composers, conductors and musicians of the world, ever.

The innovative music, which he composed for the immense popular film "West Side Story" must be one of the reasons, at least for the beginning of an unique development in and for the history of music, and for the name Leonard Bernstein.
We will never forget him.
He lived from August 25, 1918 till October 14, 1990.
His passing away is a loss for the world.
His music is eternal.
